Unfermented grape juice or the entire grape harvest could be stored in this outbuilding. Once the grapes had been trodden or pressed the juice would then be fermented. It is quite a symbol of viticulture, as in Noah's days.
These two rooms belonging to the museum are preserved with their original, ceramic wall tiles and serve as exhibition space for the different aspects of winemaking.
